Theo Patron 400x400 1

April 2023 was an exciting landmark in the continued success of The Henry Allen Trust, a time where Theo Mayne became the charity patron in full support of raising awareness and much needed funds for families in need.

If you have not heard of the world-famous TV Series ‘The Traitors’, get binge-watching now! Join the rest of the Country (28 million streams on BBC iPlayer!) who devoured the TV series and were gripped by the brilliant format and phenomenal characters, hosted by Claudia Winkleman.

One character in particular was a stand-out favourite and we can all see why. Theo Mayne is everything Team Henry could hope for, for the face of the Charities future; a firm favourite, mainly because of his genuine authenticity. Theo’s personality, passion and beliefs shone through for the Country to see. Theo’s undeniable way at putting people at ease, his genuine belief in helping families using kindness and humour and his ability to make a positive difference everywhere he goes match Team Henry’s values like a glove.

Since his recent rise to fame as the fan-favourite contestant on the BBC 1 reality show, Theo has been a guest on BBC Morning Live, Virgin Radio, Saving Grace Podcast, It’s good to Talk Podcast, C4’s Steph’s packed lunch and the Celebrity Christmas special of Blankety Blank to name a few.

All of The Henry Allen Trust’s events and public interactions are to raise money to support children and families battling childhood cancer and as the impact of the current cost of living financial crisis impacts us all, it is vital we raise even more awareness in the hope that no matter how little, people out there keep raising much needed funds.

The Henry Allen Trust’s Director and Founder, Dawn Allen truly understands the journey of what families of children with cancer is like and as Mum to Henry - her forever 4 superhero - Dawn is more determined than ever to ensure Henry’s legacy supports families and health care professionals every step of the way: “I am so excited for Theo to join Team Henry and be the Patron of Henry’s charity. As a charity, we rely on people’s continued generosity far and wide and to have someone as genuine as Theo help us achieve this, fills me with more joy and determination to help more and more families who are being impacted by Childhood Cancer”.
